The University of Alabama in Tuscaloosa currently has an opening for a live-in House Director at Pi Beta Phi sorority.
Duties include, but are not limited to, complying with University policies and procedures, supervision of House staff including housekeepers, security guard, and kitchen staff, planning menus, working with food vendors in placing orders, maintaining inventory of household supplies, coordinating the opening and closing of the chapter house, ensuring the proper functioning of all appliances, plumbing, heating and cooling equipment and coordinate service representatives as needed, maintaining a friendly working relationship with organization members, alumnae, and House Board representatives, working with chapter officers to enforce house rules, attending all required meetings as set by the University and the Chapter, serve as a hostess at required functions, and preside over set meals.
