Thurston Dorm is a new under construction dorm in Honolulu, Hawaii island of Oahu. Our Grand Opening is last week of August, and you will be our very first and hopefully long term, House Mom !
2 Miles from Ala Moana Beach park, on the slopes of Oahu's Punchbowl. Location is like being in the country in the city. The address is 1531 Thurston Ave. Honolulu, HI 96822
Waikiki is a 30 minute bus ride away.
Primary market is Hawaii Pacific University, 7,500 students from all over the world.
The dorm has 73 beds, all except 2 are private rooms
House Mom Suite provided two rooms and private bathroom
Primary duties are to take care of the young charges and make certain they have love and support.
We're looking for a firm loving House Mom with traditional American values and lots of common sense. The environment is a loving one, a family atmosphere.
Full time cook on site with her own staff. You will be a primary source of feedback for the menu - we have an abiding determination to provide excellent food in great variety.
Lots of HPU and privately sponsored activities, our own social events, Thanksgiving and Christmas feasts and decorations and presents, Graduation dinner & celebration.
Property management is by owner's wife Cammy Divers, accountant.
Salary negotiable
