• Serves as the chapter hostess and sets an example at all times through professional appearance, unquestionable demeanor, courtesy, and consideration for others.
• Sees that the public areas of the chapter facility are orderly so visitors may be graciously received at any time.
• Recommends areas needing capital improvements, household repairs and replacements.
• Coordinates day-to-day facility management (including staff supervision), small repairs and maintenance with the chapter and Chapter Housing Corporation.
• Serves as on-site contact for contractors and vendors while maintaining a professional working relationship.
• Works within budgeted guidelines for the house.
• Helps to ensure the safety of the house occupants and works with the chapter officers, Advisory Board members, and the housing Corporation Board so that house rules and regulations as mandated by the collegiate chapter, Corporation Board, our national organization and university are followed.
• Lives on site during all academic periods, specifically, but not limited to, sleeping nightly at the house.
• Acts as liaison for all campus activities involving house directors.
• The House Director resides in a separate apartment in the house; it's an unfurnished one-bedroom apartment. This is a pet free and smoke free property. As a part of the employeeâ€s benefits, all utilities and meals will be provided.

Qualifications: Looking for a candidate that enjoys working with college age women, patient, flexible and self-motivated. Desired traits would be a positive approach, focused attitude and the ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with students, parents, alumnae, service providers and community resources. The House Director must also understand the need for discretion and maintaining confidentiality. Excellent organization and communication abilities, basic budget planning, knowledge of email communication, Microsoft Word and Excel, with previous property management experience is a plus.
