We are seeking a House Director for Zeta Tau Alpha, Washburn University in Topeka Kansas, beginning in August 2017. The house has 27 residents. This chapter has approximately 75 members, and all of them dine at the house once a week. The House Director will oversee a commissary kitchen, be responsible for budgeting and menu planning for the meal program, oversee the cook and a cleaning service. In addition, she will be responsible for overall maintenance of the property. We are looking for someone who enjoys mentoring, entertaining and working with college women while finding balance outside of the house with a personal life. The house is located on Washburn’s campus in Topeka, Kansas. There are a total of 3 NPC sororities at Washburn University. The House Director apartment has a living area, bedroom, closet and bathroom on the second floor of the house and is partially furnished. Parking is also included. The position runs through May 2018, with hopes of renewal if both the House Director and chapter members/advisors are satisfied. The property is owned by the ZTA Fraternity Housing Corporation, but is supervised locally by the House Director in partnership with chapter officers, chapter advisor, and National House Corporation Director.
