Description
Full time professional House Director needed for Chi Omega sorority at Michigan State University. Starting date for this position by no later than August 1, although prefer immediate start date.
Requirements:
^ Personal and professional demeanor
^Ability to communicate and interact effectively with many groups (chapter members, advisors, alumnae, house corporation board members, outside service providers and the MSU community, and a good sense of humor
^Ability to manage a 48 bed, 50 year old home and ensure both the safety and comfort for chapter members.
^Ability to manage direct employees effectively (cook and housekeeping)
^Physically able to climb up and down 3 flights of stairs and lift items as needed
^Able to reside in the house during the academic school year: year around housing provided
^comfort with technology and up to date computer skills
^Manage and oversee minor repairs. Notify HC of major repairs that exceed $500
^Adhere to campus, Fraternity and chapter policies and rules
^coordinate opening and closing of the house
^Enjoy mentoring, entertaining and working with college women while finding balance outside of the house with a personal life
We offer a competitive salary, a recently decorated private suite (living room, office area, bedroom, bathroom), parking. Other requests are negotiable. House is located a few blocks from the Michigan State University campus in East Lansing, Michigan
