A DPhiE House Director works to foster and maintain a total environment that contributes in a positive way to the safety, health, happiness and personal growth and development of the undergraduate chapter members.
The House Director also performs in a liaison capacity among the undergraduate chapter members, the chapter's alumnae, the parents of the undergraduate chapter members, the National Development Corporation/ IHQ, and the university administration, thereby providing continuity and stability in virtually every aspect of chapter life.
The House Director takes up permanent residence in the chapter house during the school year.
Duties & Responsibilities Include:·
• Hire, train and supervise all house employees.
• Direct and oversee opening and closing of House each academic year
• Oversight of meal program
• Manage cleaning, repairs and maintenance
• Act as leader and authority in House by enforcing all House Rules, enacting all emergency protocols, etc.
• Liaison with Chapter, Chapter Advisory Board and National Development Corporation
• Carry out all other duties and necessary
