The Sigma Kappa Corporation of Springfield is seeking a full-time, single female, live-in House Director for the upcoming 2014-2015 school year (Fall and Spring semesters). The Sigma Kappa Delta Upsilon Chapter is located at Missouri State University in Springfield, Missouri. Springfield is the 3rd largest city in Missouri and is located in the Ozarks only 35 minutes from Branson, MO and beautiful Table Rock Lake.

The Chapter House accommodates 52 live-in chapter members, A suite is provided for the House Director..She will also be provided with an assigned parking space on site, all utilities, cable TV, wireless internet service, car allowance, cell phone allowance, and meal plan when food is served to the Chapter members. This is a pet, smoke, alcohol, and firearm free environment.

Employment will begin on Aug. 4, 2014.

REQUIREMENTS:
Be a single, female.
Must live in the Chapter House and sleep nightly in the House when Chapter members are present.
Must be able to interact professionally with the collegiate members, chapter advisers, Corporation
Board members, and University officials.
Must be in good health and able to climb steps. Our house has three floors and a basement.
Must be able to type, use email, and be familiar with internet usage.
Must be able to pass a background and credit check.

PREFERRED SKILLS:
Previous House Director experience.
Property Management experience.
Managerial skills.

JOB DESCRIPTION – Includes but not limited to:
Provide mature counsel and assistance to Chapter members.
Follow the House Rules as provided by the Corporation..
Serve as hostess for social events held at the Chapter House.
Supervise the day to day maintenance, operation, and food service of the House.
Keep an accurate record of dining room and household expenditures while working within the
budget guide lines.
Contact tradesmen to repair and maintain the property.
Keep the Corporation informed of matters concerning the House.
Be responsible for the opening and closing of the House before and after each vacation period.
