The Beta Beta Chapter of Chi Omega at Washington State University is seeking a House Director. This is a full-time live-in position located at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington. A successful candidate must enjoy working with college age women, has patience, a sense of humor and a positive attitude even in stressful situations. Furthermore, the House Director will play a significant role in the upkeep and maintenance of our chapter home, maintaining a positive relationship with our members, alumnae, parents, vendors, contractors and the university while always representing our chapter in a professional manner in the community. Excellent organization and communication skills, basic budgeting and event planning, knowledge of email, Microsoft Word and spreadsheets, as well as the ability to use a smart phone. Must be able to climb flights of stairs daily, do light house maintenance and lift 25 pounds.
The chapter has approx. 150 members with 57 members living in the chapter house. The chapter takes pride in their home, their scholarship and their community involvement. Pullman is a small college town, 73 miles south of Spokane, WA. and 8 miles from the University of Idaho in Moscow, ID. We provide a
furnished 2 room apartment with separate bedroom and living room with private bath. We provide internet, cable, meals when women are resident, with personal washer and dryer in apartment as well. Unfortunately, we do not allow pets.
