SORORITY ‘FACILITY DIRECTOR†POSITION OPENING
The Omicron Chapter of Kappa Alpha Theta, established 125 years ago at the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, has an opening for the position of Facility Director.

ABOUT THE FACILTY DIRECTORâ€S JOB
Omicron Chapter is seeking a dynamic, professional facility director with solid experience in Greek house, hospitality and/or property management.
The candidate will be an employee of and report to the Omicron Theta, Inc. Corporation Board (FCB), while working closely with the Chapterâ€s Advisory Board (AB), the Chapterâ€s facilities adviser and the student house manager.
She will run the day-to-day operations of the Chapter residence of 64 college women, with a total chapter membership of 240. She will supervise a full and part-time staff of 10, including a chef, cook, kitchen and dining room servers, housekeepers, gardeners and security personnel.
The Facility Director is also responsible to coordinate the Parents†Club volunteers for events throughout the school year, to act as the official ‘hostess†and ‘mom away from home†to the Chapter women , and to represent Omicron to USC and the community at large.
The ideal house director will appreciate and understand that her “girls” are in a highly-charged setting… academically, socially and environmentally. One day is never the same as the next, so she needs to be flexible in attitude and energy.

DESIRED EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS
• Strong hospitality industry and/or ‘Greek†sorority facility director experience. Needs to hit the ground running in August 2013.
• Background in human resources, food service management, sanitation, fire and safety, vendor negotiations and leadership.
• Strong administrative and interpersonal skills; the ability to handle multiple tasks, demands and deadlines in a 24/7 environment.
• Creative problem solver, team player and team builder.
• Poised, self-confident, energetic; enjoys working with college women as a role model and mentor.
• Computer proficiency in Word, email, texting; knowledge of ‘Excel†valuable.
• College graduates preferred
• Fluency in Spanish is a big plus.
SALARY/BENEFITS
Base salary plus benefit reimbursements are negotiable based on experience and excellence.
