Seeking sorority House Director for Delta Delta Delta in Baldwin City, KS. Majority of summer and school breaks off duty. Looking to fill position immediately.
This position is employed independently by the sorority without any employment affiliation to Baker University.
House Mother Job description: Woman age 21 and over lives in the sorority as a support system for college women
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Manage the day-to-day operations of the house while ensuring the safety of the house occupants; serve as a hiring and supervising household employees; coordinating day to day facility management, complete meal planning and ordering food within designated budget amount; work with the chapterâ€s officers and alumnae volunteers to oversee household repairs, projects, and upkeep; supervise cook, contractors, vendors, and maintenance, as well as coordinating the opening and closing of the house with direction from House Corporation.
Desired skills include excellent organization and communication abilities and basic budget planning.
Desired traits would be a positive solution-focused attitude and the ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with students, parents, alumnae, service providers and community resources. Enjoyment from working with college-age women, patience, flexibility, and a sense of humor are beneficial.
House Director will have private bedroom, bath, living room and parking space. Salary and room & board provided. No alcohol or pets are allowed on our property. There are currently 30 residents in our newly re-decorated, beautiful home.
