The lovely Gamma Epsilon Chapter of Kappa Kappa Gamma at the University of Pittsburgh in the most livable city of Pittsburgh PA is looking to find that special woman to fulfill the Position of House Director starting with the 2014/2015 School year. Summer start preferable.
Applicant must be a non-smoker, have a self-motivated work ethic, excellent communication, social, organizational and managerial skills, and the ability to interact professionally and diplomatically with employees, hired contractors, students, parents, and alumni. Skilled in basic budget planning, knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel, Quickbooks with previous property management experience being a plus. Desired traits would be a positive attitude, patience, flexibility, a calm cool head and a sense of humor are a must!
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: assist in the hiring household employees and supervising the duties of employees and hired contractors; day to day facility management and working with alumnae volunteers on household repairs, projects, and upkeep. Help to ensure the safety of the house occupants.
Benefits include room and board which include all utilities, extended cable, internet, private room and bathroom, and separate TV room, Cell phone allowance and parking. Most school holidays off. Prefer year round occupancy but not a must.
