House Director

We are looking for a house director to start immediately and to finish out the current semester (May 2018), with the possibility of continuing on for future years. House directors are provided room and board in the chapter house in Minneapolis.

The duties of the House director are maintaining the quality and integrity of the Chapter House and its members in a cost efficient manner. Such duties may include, but are not limited to the following:

• Maintaining inventory of supplies and functionality of appliances
• Scheduling maintenance and emergency repairs
• Monitoring the alarm system and safety of the members
• Managing the chef, housekeeper, handyman and any other contracted staff
• Attend designated chapter functions, and maintain a pleasant, supportive presence in the chapter
• Working with chapter officers to enforce house rules
• Attend monthly AHC meetings and maintain a cordial and responsive relationship with board members
• Be available for emergency calls or situations
